Our mission
MECCHA CHAMELEON Guide exists to help players enjoy hide-and-seek rounds with clearer routes, better camouflage practice, and fewer lobby setup mistakes. We translate Steam announcements, in-game testing, and community discoveries into readable wiki pages, map notes, strategy guides, and the Camouflage Simulator.
We are players first. When a patch changes a map or feature, we update the relevant page and note the review date so you know what to double-check in your own lobby.
What we publish
Core sections on this site include:
- Beginner and multiplayer guides for first matches and private lobbies.
- Wiki topics covering rules, tools, modes, scoring, and patch history.
- Camouflage map notes focused on scene reading rather than fixed “best spots.”
- Strategy guides for Seekers, Hiders, paint workflow, and Infection mode.
- Workshop hosting checklists, patch summaries, and the Camouflage Simulator.
Editorial standards
We write in plain player language, cite official sources when discussing patch facts, and keep Steam Workshop stage notes separate from official Wiki map reading pages. We do not publish paid reviews disguised as guides, and we do not claim access to private developer builds.
If you spot an error, email us at [email protected]. Corrections make the site better for everyone.
Independence and funding
MECCHA CHAMELEON Guide is not owned, operated, or endorsed by LEMORION or Valve. We do not speak for the developer, handle refunds, or provide official technical support.
The site may display advertising or use analytics to cover hosting costs. Ads do not influence which Workshop maps we list or which guide corrections we publish. Sponsored content, if ever introduced, will be clearly labeled.
